This antique saint has glass eyes and has a commanding and dignified presence. It is pretty large, measuring 32" tall and 8" wide. In good condition but does have a repair (not very good) on one of the hands. One finger (pinkie) is broken off at the tip, but doesn't show too much as it is only a little bit. The arms have moving joints and they come out of their sockets.
The head also can be moved side to side. There are cracks forming on the shoulder joints where the nail is, but seem stable and not ready to break apart. I put some blue masking tape on one of the arm joints because it was loose. Once upon a time it fell out and probably caused the original hand damage. Just be careful with it and make sure you unpack it on some carpet in case the arms want to fall off again.
Not sure of the age or country of origin, but the head and torso look like teak so maybe Philippines.
